Amour

I watched Amour last night. A film in French directed by the great Michael Haneke. It captures the life of an old couple living a marriage full of love, compassion, respect, and patience. Haneke is known for his style as being bleak and disturbing, using real-life as his art instead of creating an image of escape. Beautiful characters, beautiful acting, raw emotion, long silences, and the portrayal of incidents that are so realistic will all leave you crying your eyes out – or maybe that’s just me!

Here’s the link to this must-watch:

I give the film 5 hearts out of 5. How about you? Have you seen it? How many hearts do you give it? :)xx
